I follow the still, small voice of unconditional love. It speaks to me, and when I listen, life flows beautifully. The voice is clear, calm, loving, and very patient. It never changes. People ask if I am retired, and I reply “I am never going to retire.” It is very hard to explain about “the voice”. The image I see is Jiminy Cricket, or an Angel on my shoulder. I think the only way others will understand is if they hear the voice themselves and follow through on its message.
When listening to the voice, I am never lost. It has spoken to me throughout my life. It was clear during my open heart surgery and the passing of our beloved special needs daughter, Ashley.
Loss will happen. Pain will happen. We will get hurt. Sometimes we will suffer and get excluded. We can not stop the challenges of life and time.
We can listen to the still, small voice.
