When I make a commitment, I am in an intimate
relationship with my soul. I am committed to my mission, to my sense of purpose
in this life. This includes staying true to myself when things are difficult.
This includes accepting my faults, mistakes, limitations, and aging. I am still
learning to love myself even when others do not. I am more concerned about
being integrous with my soul than I am concerned with the approval of others.
This is simultaneously difficult and essential. I embrace the Divinity that
resides within me. The same Divinity that radiates in all life. I am bound to
my truth.
