In all the great literature (poetry, prose, plays, novels,
fiction, nonfiction) of the world there are countless references to love. There are few pieces of writing that
celebrate logic.
“Logic never attracts men to the point of carrying them
away” - Alexis Carrell
Love excites passion, warms our heart and softens our
walls. Given the transformational nature
of love, why do we base so many of our decisions on logic? Maybe we fear that we will be disrespected if
we don’t show how logical we are. I want
to be respected but I also want to be carried away, transformed, totally used
up in the cause of love.
